This course is designed to expose the apprentice to the operation, function, and proper use of a transit-level. The Learning Units include:
- Setting up the Transit
- Reading Elevations
- Interpreting Benchmarks at Sea Level, 0.0’, or 100.0’.
- Transferring bench mark levels requiring multiple transit setups
- Plumbing over a point
This class takes place once a week for 3 weeks and one Saturday. This class is offered one time a year.
