Course Description: This course is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computer and Microsoft Office skills, preparing them for more advanced study in technology and virtual design. Ideal for beginners, this class covers the essential knowledge needed to navigate today’s digital world with confidence.
Topics Covered:
- Computer Basics: Understand computer components, basic operations, and maintenance.
- Windows Basics: Learn to navigate the Windows operating system, manage files and folders, and customize settings.
- Internet Basics: Explore safe web browsing, search techniques, and website evaluation.
- Email Basics: Set up and manage an email account, send and receive messages, attach files, and practice good email etiquette.
- Microsoft Word 2016: Create, edit, and format documents, using Word’s tools to produce professional documents.
- Microsoft Excel 2016: Learn spreadsheet basics, work with formulas, create charts, and organize data effectively.
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2016: Design and deliver engaging presentations with slides, images, transitions, and animations.
